CBD is derived from the cannabis plant, which is legal or illegal depending on the quantity of THC present. As a general rule, the amount of THC in a cannabis product determines whether it is legal to use, cultivate, or commercialize it. The THC content of less than one percent makes a plant lawful. The cannabis plant does not provide more than that.
Switzerland’s law imposes a 1% THC limit, making it the only country to do so. The average limit in Europe is 0.2 percent. As a result, the plant develops to its maximum medical potential and provides the most potent treatment.
With a 0.2 percent criterion in the United States, farmers are compelled to harvest their plants too early.
As a result, the finished extract has less THC and offers less medical benefits than a more mature plant.
When Josh Stanley, CW Hemp’s co-founder, visited Heidi’s Garden Facilities early in the year, he learned the following:
The government recognizes CBD’s potential as medicine with therapeutic benefits.
Switzerland is one of the most progressive European countries when it comes to CBD kaufen regulation. The Swiss aren’t just duplicating existing regulations; they’re also daring to attempt, explore, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with these cannabinoids.
When it comes to businesses, it is critical to know that the government not only supports but also contributes to and encourages sustainable growth in a well-regulated environment to feel secure.
There are a few regulations worth mentioning in this context:
There are criminal penalties of up to three years in jail for commercialization, use, manufacturing, or possession of cannabis with more than one percent THC.
Other than that, the rules remain the same. Because of cannabidiol-containing goods, businesses cannot make specific healing guarantees.
Although it is not illegal in Switzerland to drive under the influence of CBD, the Federal Office of Public Health cautions its users against doing so.
You can quickly exceed Switzerland’s legal THC threshold of 1,5 micrograms per liter of blood when using some CBD kaufen products while driving. There is zero tolerance for narcotics on the road. As a result, using certain CBD products may cause you to go above your safe blood level.
CBD, on the other hand, is not classified as a narcotic by the WHO. THC isn’t present in all CBD products either.
Products containing a wide range of cannabinoids with high CBD concentrations but low THC levels are referred to as “full-spectrum hemp products.” If you’re using an isolated CBD product, this won’t be an issue if you want to CBD kaufen.
The good news is that you don’t have to worry about going over the legal limit when doing things like driving a car or other legally restricted activities when using CBD products that don’t contain any THC. Consider Charlotte’s Web’s new “CBD Isolate Oil” THC-free CBD Oil, which just went on sale this month.
CBD Switzerland: When will medical marijuana be available?
Is Swiss medicinal cannabis policy adequately implemented? No, that’s not correct. Not yet, at any rate. As of right now, there is no official medical cannabis program in place in Switzerland. According to new legislation, patients must get a special permit from the Federal Office of Public Health before their doctor can prescribe medical cannabis.
This license allows patients to access a wide range of medical marijuana options, including oil, tinctures, or synthetically produced medications like dronabinol. It’s not possible to use cannabis flowers or resins for treatment.
What does this, however, imply for the industry as a whole?
Innovating and trying new things is not a problem in Switzerland, and the country is open to the medical benefits of cannabis and cannabidiol (CBD). It’s easy to see from these indicators that the market is well-positioned to continue growing and prospering.
Deploying and implementing such choices and legislation typically takes time because they are meant to be long-term in nature.
